Black Sheep Coffee, the renowned specialty robusta coffee chain based in London, has recently named Ben Fenton as its new Chief Operating Officer. Fenton, who has been with the company since June 2021 and previously served as the Global Operations & Development Director, will now be instrumental in driving the brand’s expansion within the UK and on an international scale.
Working closely with Black Sheep Coffee’s Founders, Eirik Holth and Gabriel Shohet, Fenton’s responsibilities will include spearheading the growth of outlets, enhancing operational efficiencies within stores, and managing day-to-day functions across the global network of the coffee chain. The company, established in 2013, currently operates 103 outlets in the UK, in addition to locations in the UAE, the US, and France.
To reinforce the launch of new stores and strengthen operational capabilities, Black Sheep Coffee has also promoted Kieran Littlewood to the role of Head of Franchise Operations. Littlewood, who has been a part of the company since February 2023 and previously held the position of Franchise Operations Manager, will be taking over from Jess Bouscarle.
The appointments of Fenton and Littlewood signal Black Sheep Coffee’s strategic moves to support its growth trajectory and enhance its presence in the competitive coffee industry landscape. This development underscores the brand’s commitment to delivering quality coffee experiences to its customers while expanding its footprint globally.
